Milan, September 2026 – Ecolab today announced that, effective 1 December 2026, it will move to a direct market model for selected Life Sciences product lines in Italy, including the Klercide™ and Klerwipe™ contamination control portfolios. The move strengthens Ecolab’s direct presence in one of Europe’s most important pharmaceutical markets and is designed to bring customers closer to Ecolab’s technical expertise, service resources, and global Life Sciences capabilities.

The new model reflects Ecolab’s increased direct investment and engagement in the Italian Life Sciences market, with expanded technical expertise and customer resources designed to serve customers more directly. Backed by more than 100 years of global experience and more than 20 years supporting Life Sciences customers in Italy, Ecolab brings a deep understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturers’ operational, quality, and contamination control requirements, helping strengthen supply resilience and enhance the customer experience, while improving product availability.
