Covid-19 created serious problems in many fields, touching also dairy farms and dairy processors. In fact, the drop in the milk demand, coming from the stop of the Ho.Re.Ca. sector, has turned into a drop of the milk price and into an increasing share of unsold milk.

Ecolab, as a global leader in providing hygiene solutions for those sectors, has decided to launch a campaign for supporting dairy farms and dairy processors. The Italian Animal Health team, with the fundamental support of the many local dealers, donated the 10% of the turnover realized on the environmental hygiene product range to a local charity association (Istituto Beata Vergine Addolorata – IBVA), who is operating for providing food and beverage to the people in need. The association will use the amount to buy unsold milk and dairy products from the producers and will donate them to the indigents.
