Neoxidina Hands
Neoxidina Hands is an antiseptic solution for hand washing and complete patient washing before surgery. The chlorhexidine gluconate formula is designed to reduce the number of microorganisms on skin prior to surgery or patient care.
A Fast-Acting and Effective Antiseptic
Neoxidina Hands is an antiseptic and disinfectant solution, perfectly transparent, red in color and with a neutral pH. Neoxidina Hands comes in four formats for different applications and ease-of-use in your facility.
Chlorhexidine gluconate is a main ingredient and is active against bacteria, fungi and gram-positive and gram-negative viruses. As an antiseptic for hands, chlorhexidine offers:
- Fast speed of action
- Near-immediate efficacy
- Strong affinity with skin for long-acting efficacy
Scope of Application
Neoxidina Hands is intended for the following applications within a healthcare setting:
- Antiseptic hand/forearm wash: 4 ml for 1 minute
- Antiseptic washing of the surgeon’s hands and forearms: 4 ml for 1 minute + 4 ml for 2 minutes (total 3 minutes)
- Complete washing of the patient before surgery
- D-glucopyranose, oligomers, decyl octyl glucosides
- Isopropyl alcohol
- Amides, C8-18 (even numbered) and C18 (unsaturated), N, N-bis (hydroxyethyl)
- Chlorhexidine digluconate
