POVI IODINE 100 is a ready-to-use aqueous solution based on iodopovidone in a concentration of 10%. Our product, available in four formats, has proven effective against bacteria, yeast and viruses. We can help you prevent infection by reducing the number of microorganisms on the skin.
Tested Iodopovidone Solution with Proven Efficacy
POVI IODINE 100 has been tested by accredited laboratories in compliance with the European efficacy standards and has proven bactericidal, yeasticidal and virucidal efficacy.
The ingredient in this product, povidone-iodine (also known as iodopovidone), is active against gram-positive and gram-negative germs, yeasts and viruses. It contains approximately 10% free available iodine, which is gradually released upon contact. The antisepsis is performed by the free iodine with a direct oxidizing action.
The scope of application for POVI IODINE 100 is hand washing in healthcare facilities by healthcare professionals.
